Genuine Confederate "Lucy Pickins" $100 Bills!
These genuine Confederate 100 Bank Notes were issued in 1864 and feature the portrait of Lucy Pickens, the wife of the South Carolina governor, along with portraits of George W. Randolph and two soldiers.
But the Dollar Signs were never used on Confederate Currency, although this note does feature a large "C".
This possibly led to our $100 bills being referred to as "C Notes"!
