2016 National Parks State Quarter PACKAGING ERROR Proof Set

The coins in this proof set contain no errors, however, the box was misprinted by the U.S. Mint, creating a proof set with error packaging.

The picture of the Cumberland Gap National Historical Park is actually a picture of a waterfall in the Cumberland Falls State Resort Park, also in Kentucky.

These error proof sets carry a mintage of 12,000.

Each set contains 5 five coins which honor Shawnee National Forest in Illinois, Cumberland Gap National Historical Park in Kentucky, Harpers Ferry National Historical Park in West Virginia, Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota and Fort Moultrie (Fort Sumter) National Monument in South Carolina.

Struck at the San Francisco Mint in a copper-nickel clad composition. Each set includes the original U.S. Mint box and certificate of authenticity.
